Transfers
MV Fantasea Ammarì departs from Dent Passage; we transfer you there by private
launch on Fantasea Cruisin' from Hamilton Island. Boarding begins from 12:00pm
on the day of departure.
Guests at hotels and resorts: Fantasea transfers you to and from Fantasea-serviced
hotel resorts in comfort aboard one of its high-speed catamarans.
Guests arriving at Hamilton Island Airport: Fantasea transfers guests to and from
Hamilton Island Airport.
Guests arriving at Whitsunday Coast Airport (Proserpine):
Fantasea can arrange a
car service from Proserpine to Shute Harbour; from there we transfer guests to MV
Fantasea Ammarì in comfort aboard one of Fantasea's high-speed catamarans.
Airports
There
are two airports in the region serviced by Virgin Blue and Jetstar.
One located
at Proserpine and the other on Hamilton Island.
For Fantasea Ammarì passengers Hamilton Island is the preferred airport.
Proserpine Airport, also known as Whitsunday Coast Airport, is a short 40 minute
drive from Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour. Whitsunday Taxi and a Whitsunday Transit
coach meet all arrivals and departures. The major car rental companies also service
the airport.
